SXWBA and an evening sure to be full of PBR

We’re headed to Austin in about a week, with a few stops on the way. We’ll be playing March 17 at Plush with our good friends At Any Speed and a bunch of other great bands, and then March 18 at Maggie Mae’s for Minnesota Music at SXSW. What a lineup.

Before all that happens, we’re sharing the stage with The Evening Rig and International Espionage at Sauce on March 11. Amazing. For bonus points, count the number of empty tallboys that night.

HOLY CRAP, IT’S HERE

Have you heard the good news? Why yes, our EP is now available in physical format, and we’re playing a fine rocknroll show with some of our most wonderful friends. Come to Sauce, Saturday, Nov. 7 at 9:30 to be delighted by the ballroom majesty of The Invincible Kids, the smooth sounds of White Light Riot, our own anthemic pop gems, and of course, the endearing antics of Koo Koo Kanga Roo. Thanks to Ross Raihala and the PiPress for the shout out.

Also, peep the Muzzle of Bees Q&A, featuring Jesse and Christian. Thanks to Jodi Root and the good folks at MoB.

EP available digitally / 501 show

Hey guys, just a quick update on things. We’ve currently got our ep available for digital pre-sale on Itunes, Amazon, Napster, etc so you can get your fix before the real thing hits the streets sometime very soon.

We’ll have pictures available from our NYC show where you can see ‘em. If you’re really itching to see, they’re out there on the interwebs on Flicker and Facebook and whatnot.

Lastly, we’re super excited to be playing the 501 club next Friday, August 21st with three of our bestest band friends, The Idle Hands, Two Harbors and Communist Daughter. I have all the faith in the world this will be the best show in MPLS that weekend. Know it. And it’s free, to boot. Come say hey.

Just a few updates:

We had a rad time battling a DJ while playing an acoustic set at the brilliant Uptown Market Sunday.

This Is Where We Stand is now available digitally via Amazon. For those of you who still crave physical media, hit us up for a CD. Release show details forthcoming.

We’ll be in NYC next week, Tuesday, July 28, at Pianos. Be there. 8 pm sharp.

Hey guys, welcome to our new site. As you can see, things here are closely tied to our upcoming EP, “This is Where We Stand,” being released this summer.

Big ups to our friends Nate and Jake for helping us out. Nate drew and layed out the artwork for both the EP and this site and Jake made it all actually work and hosts the damn thing. That’s how they do.

You can check their work out on the interwebs. Hire them and pay them loads of money. Lord knows we can’t afford to.
